About Flat Glass Ltd

Flat Glass Ltd has been established for over 40 years. In 1996 the Company was very proud to gain ISO 9001 accreditation. In 2002 this accreditation was extended to encompass the new BS EN ISO 9001: 2008 standard. This achievement has stood us in good stead in gaining contracts with Local Authorities, Schools, Hospitals and several PLC’s. We have recently achieved the very exacting CHAS accreditation which serves to demonstrate our commitment to Health and Safety.

We are members of the Glass and Glazing Federation and were one of the first companies to register with FENSA.

Scope of works

Flat Glass Ltd is based in the North West, the area in which most of our work is carried out, however we have carried out contracts in Wales, the Isle of Man, the Lake District and London. We are Glass Merchants and Glazing Contractors who also specialise in Aluminium fabrication and installation, this includes shop fronts and curtain walling. We have done mirror fit out work for some of the New Look stores and Total Fitness gymnasiums.

We also supply and fit PVCu window frames, doors and conservatories. Because of our FENSA membership we are able to self certificate this work.
